QUALITY ASSURANCE
ROMEING Travel products are always performance tested, at fully loaded capacity, using our stringent quality control standards. Before we offer any product for sale, it is put through rigorous tests of strength, durability, and dependability that represent the environmental demands of frequent travelers.
ROMEING TWO-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY FOR LUGGAGE
ROEMING warrants to the original purchaser or gift recipient that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship, under ordinary use for two years from the date of your original retail purchase. Coverage is non-transferable and terminates when the original purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the product. An original or copy of a sales receipt from the original ROMEING authorized sales retailer is required for warranty service. This limited warranty does not cover products purchased from 3rd party sellers or sales auction sites.
ROMEING products are rigorously tested to ensure that the travel products meet stringent standards. Consequently, if a problem occurs with any ROMEING product and the problem is caused by manufacturing defects in material and workmanship, ROMEING will, in its discretion, either fix or replace the product in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions stated herein.
This warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover accidental damage, misuse, improper care or alteration, or acts of God, such as floods and earthquakes; nor does it cover normal wear and tear that occurs after extended use (i.e. zipper wear, physical damages to parts like wheels, locks, trolley mechanism, body shell scratches, fabric abrasion, etc.). Like most large luggage manufacturers, we cannot accept liability for damage due to improper handling by carriers. If you discover that your luggage has been damaged after a flight, evidently resulting from improper handling by the airline, you must notify the airline in question before leaving the terminal building.
If the Product proves defective during the warranty period, and you follow the instructions that we will provide to you for returning the Product, we will, at our option, take one of the following actions: (i) replace the Product with either a new or a refurbished Product that is the same as or similar to the Product you purchased; or (ii) repair the Product using either new or refurbished parts. There is no assurance, representation or warranty that any replacement Product will be identical to or will offer the same functionalities as the Product returned to us. Technological advances and Product availability may result in your receiving a replacement Product with a lower selling price than the original Product you purchased. In all cases, Product comparability will be determined by us at our sole discretion. While sending the Product to ROMEING Service Center, you are, responsible for all costs of getting the Product to us including, but not limited to, the cost of packaging, shipping and applicable taxes.
Incidental and consequential damages are expressly disclaimed. Labour charges and damages attributable to work performed by anyone other than a Service Center are not covered by this warranty. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties are hereby excluded. The warranty provided herein is limited to the value of the Product. Manufacturing specifications are subject to change without notice. Product locks are intended only to prevent accidental opening and cannot necessarily prevent theft of the Product or its contents, breakage or entry by airline or airport personnel or governmental authorities. Inspect your Product immediately after handling by anyone other than you. If damaged in transit, submit a claim to the transit company (which is insured against damaging your product) at the place of arrival, if possible, before clearing customs.
This warranty is intended to give you specific legal rights. In addition to the rights described herein, you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or country to country with respect to the exclusion or application of implied warranties, incidental and consequential damages and repair and replacement. Consequently, the limitations or exclusions specifically contained in this warranty may not be applicable to you.
While non-warranty maintenance or repairs on your Product can be performed by any company, ROMEING requires that you use only an approved Service Center for warranty repairs. Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repairs void this warranty. Coverage is valid only with proof of purchase from an Authorized ROMEING Dealer or Retailer. WHO IS COVERED?
This limited warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original end purchaser. Coverage terminates when the original purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the product. An original or copy of a sales receipt from the original ROMEING authorized sales retailer is required for warranty service. This limited warranty does not cover products purchased from 3rd party sellers on online sales auction sites. Online sales auction confirmations are NOT accepted for warranty verification.
WHAT IS COVERED?
ROMEING warrants that the products will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under ordinary use for two years from the date of your original retail purchase.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED?
· Normal wear and tear of Product use; or after extended use (i.e. zipper wear, physical damages to parts like wheels, locks, trolley mechanism, body shell scratches, fabric abrasion, etc.).
· Misuse (such as transportation of unusual or heavy items, exposure to extreme temperatures, acids, solvents, moisture), improper care or alteration, mishandling, abuse, or other abnormal use, or acts of God, such as floods and earthquakes; accidental damage,
· Transport damage (e.g. by airlines or third parties). In case of third-party transport damages, please contact the transporting organization at the arrival destination or upon delivery. Like most large luggage manufacturers, we cannot accept liability for damage due to improper handling by carriers. If you discover that your luggage has been damaged after a flight, evidently resulting from improper handling by the airline, you must notify the airline in question before leaving the terminal building.
· Use of the Product other than for its intended purpose;
· Damage caused by improper or unauthorized repair or maintenance;
· Products that have been modified or altered;
· Any contents in the Product and products that not manufactured by ROMEING (including, without limitation, any non-ROMEING product that is used in connection with the Product).
HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM:
To report a warranty defect for products purchased in India, please contact customer support on (+91) 9322012221 or reach us by e-mail at info@golyfe.in. Please include your telephone number so that we may contact you.
When submitting a warranty claim, we will require proof that the claim is valid. In this regard, we will always require that
(i) You provide us with an original or copy of your sales receipt as proof of purchase and
(ii) You return your product to us for warranty coverage verification.
(iii) You are responsible for shipping costs to ROMEING but there is no charge for the inspection or the return postage.
(iv) ROMEING is not liable for Products that are damaged or lost in transit to ROMEING. We recommend that you ship your returned Products to ROMEING via a track able shipment method. You are responsible for customs fees, including, but not limited to, taxes, duties and brokerage.
All products returned to ROMEING will be subject to review for authenticity. Products determined to be counterfeit will be confiscated and turned over to our legal department for action. Counterfeit cases will not be returned and consumers should seek restitution from their original place of purchase.
SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY: If we find that the Product is defective in materials or workmanship and otherwise meets the terms of the applicable limited warranty, your sole and exclusive remedy for a breach of this limited warranty, and ROMEING’s sole and entire liability is, at ROMEING’s option, to repair or replace the defective Product using new or refurbished parts or Products. Repair or replacement (including parts and labor and shipping costs) shall be made at ROMEING’s expense. ROMEING reserves the right to send you a replacement product that is the same or of a similar style or a substitute equivalent that may not be of like kind (depending on availability). Replacement products are warranted as above for the remainder of the original applicable Product Warranty Period. For purposes of this limited warranty, “refurbished” means a product or part that has been substantially returned to its original specifications. Failure to ship the damaged part or Product back to us may result in your being charged for the replacement part or Product at full retail price.
WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH ABOVE IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, ROMEING MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF SUCH DISCLAIMER OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS NOT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DURATION OF ANY SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTIES IS LIMITED TO THE DURATIONS SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY MAY LAST, SO SUCH LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IN NO EVENT SHALL ROMEING OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF VALUE OF THE PRODUCT OR ANY THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS THAT ARE USED IN OR WITH THE PRODUCT, OR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT OR ANY THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS THAT ARE USED IN OR WITH THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF ROMEING HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. ROMEING HAS NO LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE OR DESTRUCTION TO CONSUMER ELECTRONICS DEVICES OR OTHER PERSONAL PROPERTY THAT ARE IN OR CONNECTED TO THE PRODUCTS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LAPTOPS, TABLETS, SMARTPHONES, OR OTHER DEVICES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA CONTAINED IN THE FOREGOING DEVICES. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY DAMAGES THAT YOU MIGHT INCUR FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL DAMAGES REFERENCED HEREIN AND ALL DIRECT OR GENERAL DAMAGES IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE), THE ENTIRE LIABILITY OF ROMEING AND ANY OF ITS SUPPLIERS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT. SOME STATES AND/OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
